Alex approached us as a computer illiterate man in need of a web presence and a dynamic system to quickly advertise his ever expanding portfolio of work.
He wanted a clean simple website that could host his portfolio as a master cabinet maker as well his students work at the school he runs in Kent.
Cosy designed the full website for him, drawing inspiration from his existing brand and logo he had since the 80's. The existing logo only existed on paper so Alastair had to trace and tighten up the image for digital use and provided Alex with his logo as a vectorised image he could then go on to use in other printing in the future.
As someone with a lack of experience in computing, Alex needed a content management system included in the design so that he could easily log in and update his portfolio in the future. Drupal was ideal for this and Robert Turley, Cosy's engineer took care of every aspect of this. Everything in the site had to be automatically built around Alex's input through image formatting, menu building etc so that the website would dynamically adjust to the fresh content he added.
Much consideration was put into the architecture of the site to ensure the user jouney was as short and clear as possible given that many of his students and clients may also be as unfamiliar with the online world as him.
I'm very happy with Cosy's work.
